I was having a few probs with some of the links posted...I think I fixed them. I hate going to websites with outdated links myself. The websites I post are for artistic inspiration, and to learn more about this kind of art we're trying to do. I can't censor the material on the sites, so parents look them over first. There's always good art, bad art and stuff that's just really inappropriate. I want to maintain a professional and educational edge with this site, yet art always blurs this boundary. Feel free to contact me with any concerns.
Thank you for your support and the great job you are doing with your kids!

I'm encouraging my students to update their pages and make them more personal...Friday's group was quite lively...we have so many projects and ideas underway we were quite manic. The students did however decide on pricing for a new product design we are rolling out, and their jaws dropped when I told them a teacher was paying $100 for a custom painting 24"x30". And just so everyone's aware, the money we raise goes towards supplies. Thinking ahead, 2 of my goals for next school yr. are to open a bank account for our group and to run the program after school 1 day. I would like to be able to have my 8th grade graduates come back and mentor my new students & earn community service hrs. Besides the fact that we want to see them again!
We've gotten a few orders out already with happy customers. Thanks for the support!! Look at custom paintings to see our hard work.

I love art and can't imagine my life without it! I've been working with students in Jersey City for the past 13 yrs~ doing what I love. My students inspire me, and I hope I return the inspiration back. ~Ms. Marino Archives
